About Mrs. Chang

Dear Parents/Guardians,

My name is Mrs. Chang, and I am your child's Computer teacher. I will be spending several hours each week with your child teaching him/her how to use a computer. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a few things about myself both personally and professionally.

I grew up in Lake Forest, California. My first computer was the first IBM personal computers that came into existence for home purchase in 1985.

I have taken courses such as robotics, programming, and electronics in junior high and high school. In addition, I am self-taught in Windows (starting at version 3.01), Microsoft Office Suite, and webpage design.

I received my B.A. in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1999. In 2002, I received my teaching credential from CalState Fullerton.

Parents are the most important people in a child's life, and I need your full support (in my academic, home, and discipline efforts) to maximize the benefits your child will receive in my computer class. In return, I will keep you informed about all aspects of your child's experiences at school. With school and home working together, I know that your child will have a most successful and rewarding school year.
