New Student Information Test

This is a TEST of your reading skills as a new student. If you have ANY questions, please ask Mrs. Chang!!!

1) Pick up a copy of your curriculum paper (Business Tech) (Computer Skills 2) from the blue file box at the front of the class. Fill it out.

2) Pick up a copy of your Internet Safety Agreement too. Fill it out.

3) Pick up a copy of your Lab Procedures too. Fill it out.

4) Know your computer and workstation. Know which CPU/Computer belongs to you. Know your computer number.

5) Know how to use a keyboard and mouse.

6) Sign yourself up with a MicroType account. See Downloadable Notes.

7) Know how to save a file into YOUR OWN folder! See Downloadable Notes.

8) Remember that everything must be saved in Thawspace. Otherwise it will be deleted.

9) Make sure you bring a pen or pencil every day to class.

10) Remember and follow all the rules and procedures of the classroom. Not knowing the rules & procedures is not an excuse in Room 501!
