Where do I get a Flash Drive? Have your parent or guardian take you to the nearest computer store, such as Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, etc. All these stores sell USB Flash Drives.

A 1GB is good enough. Be prepared to spend at least $10.00 for a decent one. If you are looking for a 256 MB or 512 MB, the price will be less.

All the teachers at South use different flash drives. The one that Mrs. Chang uses is by OCZ. The Flash Drive model is called"Diesel". (updated: November 6, 2009)

How can I work on my assignments at home?

Only ADVANCED COMPUTER CLASS students may have a Flash Drive and take their assignments home.

All BUSINESS TECH students must complete their work in class. This is to prevent cheating and conflicts of softwares with different PCs at home.

More than enough time is given inside the classroom to complete your work. So don't waste the time talking or goofing off.

I already know how to type! What am I doing here?

Many of you already have computers at home and Mrs. Chang understands that you have your own way of typing.

However in Mrs. Chang's computer class, you will learn to type with ALL 10 fingers WITHOUT looking at the keyboard. Knowing the proper keyboarding technique can increase you speed to over 100 words per minute!!!

The current challenge in Mrs. Chang's computer class is to beat : 90 words per minute.
